## Description

The Air Force's minimum needs can only be satisfied by the contractor Virginia Panel Corporation (VPC). From this market research, it is proven that VPC is the only known sole source that can suffice this procurement. Due to the nature of this acquisition and the proprietary design of the listed items, VPC does not have any authorized resellers and is the only source that can fulfill this award.

These licensed products applies to an Interface Test Assembly (ITA) Enclosure and Patch cord that is already utilized by the 516 SWES/MXDPC and is required to support the assembly of ITA's used in the Versatile Digital Analog Test Station (VDATS) tester to aid in the maintenance and reparation of circuit cards. The VDATS mating system is also manufactured by VPC, which only allows for the ITA to mate with the test station using the VPC manufactured connections. This purchase is to acquire parts to build multiple ITA's in strict accordance with the Equipment List.
