To attain certification under this standard, the OO-ALC requires a contract with a third-party certification body to perform inspection of its quality practices, identify deficiencies to be corrected, and issue a certificate of compliance once deficiencies are corrected. The proposed contract will be for a single-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with an estimated ordering period of five (5) years with an additional 6-month option to extend. GSUs will have the option to participate after year 1. The Government intends to solicit this contract using full and open competition.
