\n\nThe Government is evaluating a potential acquisition strategy to procure a commercial transportation service as a low-cost alternative to a full-scale Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) program.
\n\nThe attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and "RFI RESPONDENT INSTRUCTIONS Commercial Transport" documents describe the key performance requirements and the specific questions the Government is seeking industry feedback on. Key areas of interest include:
\n\nA carrier's experience and licensing for transporting highly toxic/corrosive HAZMAT.
\n\nThe availability of a driver pool with active DoD Secret clearances.
\n\nFleet capabilities for maintaining strict climate control and providing redundant power.
\n\nSufficient liability and excess cargo insurance to cover high-value national assets.
\n\nInstructions to Respondents:
