## Description

The government anticipates FAT pricing will be higher on a unit price basis than production units. Example pricing in the spreadsheet is intended to not be representative of expected unit pricing. This is a Pre-solicitation Synopsis for Production of BBU-48 A/B Impulse Cartridge, see attached Draft Solicitation FA8213-24-R-B012 for details. The USG is requesting feedback/comment from approved vendors to the Draft Solicitation.

This acquisition is limited to qualified sources: a qualification package is required for new sources. PROPOSALS FROM NON-QUALIFIED SOURSES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF A QUALIFICATION PACKAGE IS NOT SUBMITTED AND ACCEPTED BY THE AIR FORCE ENGINEER PRIOR TO AWARD, CONTRACT AWARD WILL NOT BE DELAYED FOR QUALIFICATION.

This announcement does not bind or obligate the government in anyway. This Synopsis does not commit the government to pay for proposal preparation costs.

Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this synopsis. All costs associated with responding to this synopsis will be solely at the responding party's expense. The government requests that non-proprietary information be submitted in response, however, should proprietary information be submitted, it should be marked "PROPRIETARY" and will be handled accordingly.

The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Properly marked proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations.
