## Description

The purpose of this RFI is for the AFSC/AFMC organizations to gather information about the market interest and capability to provide the Air Force with internet subscription access to a minimum of 150 users to comprehensive parts and logistics management system that provides linked access to a variety of other associated and required logistics information, as required. These capabilities include access to the following:

1. Electronic versions of historical military and commercial specifications and standards 2. Department of Defense (DoD)-adopted, non-governmental specifications and standards 3. Commercial specifications and standards 4. Electronic components databases 5. Vendor catalogs 6. Inventory locator capability 7. Data subscription must be a comprehensive solution providing a single source for online subscription access to all of the products, documents and capabilities 8. The parts and logistics management system (Haystack Gold) or equivalent is essential to support material/part substitutions, repair Statement of Work (SOW), development of essential waivers for part(s) re-procurement, screening of procurement actions to identify potential sources of supply and competition opportunities for replacement parts, obtain fair and reasonable prices from various vendors, and enable Engineering Laboratories to determine and extend shelf-life of materials, research and develop test methods and limits, and provide process development support to depot maintenance activities.

Specified military and commercial specifications and standards are essential to identify technical and safety requirements to support tools and parts procurement, ensure material conformance, respond to contractors’ requests for technical clarifications, support Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with System Program Offices (SPOs) and Program Managers (PMs), ensure compliance with Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) initiatives and directives, update technical data packages for procurement actions, support locally manufacturing or suitably substituting for essential repair parts, research specifications and standards for material substitutions, first-article testing, and process development, and ensure procurement actions provide items/parts that meet required specifications and standards for maintenance repair, and overhaul of several weapon systems.
