## Description

Ancestry Library Edition for DoD Libraries is innovative information content and technologies increase the productivity of students, scholars, professionals and the libraries that serve them; a highly respected genealogical resource. Must have a collection of at least 9 billion records in more than 8,000 unique databases.

Must have over 20 billion records, 100 million family trees, a robust US Census & immigration resources, every-name indexes for 1790-1940, military records, holocaust related records, international records for the 60+ countries (including U.K., Canada & other areas) Must provide searchable obituaries of more than 470 million pages of historical newspapers with the name index and important metadata Must include Special U.S. Census Records Collection, with indexed images, 1860 U.S. Federal Census - Slave Schedules, Indian Census Rolls, 1885-1940, Selected Non-Population Schedules, 1850-1880, U.S. Special Census on Deaf Family Marriages and Hearing Relatives, 1888-1895, U.S. City Directories Collection (1821-1989) with indexed images, 1.5M records, U.S. Probate and Wills Collection (mid-1800s-2008) with indexed images, 232M records, Africa, Asia & Europe Passenger Lists of Displaced Persons (1946-1971), with indexed images, 1.7M million records, Europe, Registration of Foreigners & German Individuals Persecuted (1930-1947) with indexed images, 10M records, U.S. Navy Muster Rolls (1940-1963) with indexed images, 2.4M records, U.S. Federal Census: 1880 Schedules of Defective, Dependent, and Delinquent Classes Must add new content and/or updates on an ongoing basis, 80% of content must be owned and not from third party vendor Must provide provides genealogical tools such as charts, summaries, calendars, black research forms and message boards with in-depth tutorials, videos, how to’s wiki and online research support Must be able to interface with all 4 service branch libraries and Military OneSource websites using industry standard authentication methods to ensure only eligible patrons can access resources from any internet connected computer browsers and mobile devices.

Must work with contract POC to establish authentication methods to provide optimal accessibility for all eligible patrons.

Security between the Website and server must be Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 Must be able to supply or allow retrieval of database usage statistics by Branch of Service (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Military OneSource/Other, and Navy) Must have HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) with long duration deployed on the servers to mitigate/prevent man-in-the-middle attacks Website certificates should be RSA 2048-bits (SHA256withRSA)
