## Description

The Department of the Air Force Libraries requires access to the Ancestry Fold3 Library from ProQuest LLC to fulfill its mission of providing quality and technically capable materials as outlined in AFI 34-150 and DoDI 1015.10. The DAF Libraries support military personnel in various locations, including contingency operations and remote sites, by offering resources for professional military education, voluntary education programs, and quality of life enhancement.

To meet these needs, the DAF Libraries must procure resources that can be accessed globally, even in areas with limited or no internet access. The Ancestry Fold3 Library from ProQuest LLC provides access to historical military records, documents, and genealogical information that align with the DAF's goals of supporting educational pursuits, emotional resiliency, and quality of life for authorized customers.

The Ancestry Fold3 Library subscription offers a comprehensive collection of military records and historical documents that can be accessed via the ProQuest platform. The depth and breadth of content available through this resource make it an essential tool for DAF Libraries to support their mission and provide staff and patrons with valuable historical and genealogical information.
