The automatic monitoring devices are required to log the exact date, time, duration, and reason for every single operation of the generator. The generators themselves do not automatically log this information, and 11 CES does not have the manpower needed to monitor every single generator's operational status 24/7. Therefore, each unexpected operation of an emergency generator (i.e. unexpected utility outage) constitutes a permit violation. JBAB's current inability to collect this information triggers Title V permit violations, which can each result in fines. The automatic monitoring devices, once installed, will log this information automatically which can then be downloaded by 11 CES Power Pro at any time. This will allow JBAB to return to compliance on violated permit conditions. This requirement is for network-less devices (i.e. all data collected is stored locally).
