CAStLE is an organization located in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DFME) at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and is the requirement owner and program office of the CAStLE IDIQ. The scope of research and development provided under the CAStLE IDIQ include engineering and research activities related to the degradation of systems and materials due to operational use, often referred to as \"aging,\" initiated by external customers or by CAStLE itself.
