This decision has been made in accordance with the authority granted under FAR 14.209(a)(1), which permits the cancellation of bids before opening when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the government. All potential offerors are advised that the solicitation is no longer active, and any bids submitted will be returned unopened to the bidders. Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to complete the following construction project, RVKQ 24-0007, Replace Installation Main Gate Sign, to include the following: This project will replace NFARS’ main gate sign off Lockport Road. Selectively demolish existing damaged sign and all ancillary components for new sign to be installed. Develop and install a new installation specific sign designed in accordance with UFC 3-120-01 to display “Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Main Gate”. Work will be performed at the 914th Air Refueling Wing, Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara County, NY. Performance time is 45 calendar days. A single Firm Fixed-Price construction contract will be awarded. This solicitation is set-aside 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, concerns IAW FAR Subpart 19.14. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.
