The information from this market research will help the 31st CS with their acquisition strategy and draft statement of work. Firms are strongly encouraged to provide comments, questions, and suggestions relative to the project scope, methodologies and technologies, and approach. Any input that businesses or interested parties would like to provide will be reviewed and considered. **SCOPE/DESCRIPTION OF WORK:** Enclosed is the draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) defining the requirements for the Contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) a premises wiring upgrade to new NIPR Cat-6 cabling for the 2nd floor of Building 110 (B110) at Aviano AB, Italy. The premises wiring upgrade shall include the provision of new uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and Ethernet switch equipment. The Contractor shall remove the existing outdated and abandoned-in-place (AIP) Cat-3/Cat-5 cabling from the building, including any residual materials, upon completion. Special attention must be reserved to paragraph 4.5 of SOO addressing mandatory equipment to be furnished. To that regard, it is essential that the potential offeror’s will state their capability to supply it. Offerors are encouraged to provide any additional information related to the installation, removal, upgrade, etc. Capability statements shall be no more than seven (7) pages, 12pt font, Times New Roman, double spaced. Provide a listing of all Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts and Federal Supply Schedule contracts your firm previously held and/or currently holds.
