## Description

The 673rd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, single source maintenance service contract to Sciton Inc. (925 Commercial St., Palo Alto, California (UEI: NH2JNM9JASD5)) the sole manufacturer of the Joule Multi-platform System.

The scope of this effort includes all personnel, equipment, tools, specialized test equipment, transportation, parts, materials, supervision, preventive maintenance (to ensure proper service) and other items and services necessary to perform preventive and corrective maintenance (on-site at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska) for the Sciton Joule dermatology YAG laser.

Service will include any/all software updates, full optical alignment, complete power calibrations, filters/cartridges replacement, optical clean-up, mechanical integrity check, high/low voltage testing and inspection of all accessories. This maintenance service contract shall provide availability directly to qualified and authorized personnel; contractor’s service personnel shall carry or have stock immediately available.

Due to the critical nature and demanding need of essential medical equipment all maintenance actions shall not be delayed by more than 24 hours under this effort. The contractor shall also provide 24 hour, 7 days a week telephone support with immediate access to an authorized/qualified technician. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing). Small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1000 employees.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The anticipated award date is 28 June 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed. Deadline date for the submittal is Monday, 22 June 2024 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

A determination by the United States Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the United States Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
