(925 Commercial St., Palo Alto, California (UEI: NH2JNM9JASD5)) the sole manufacturer of the Joule Multi-platform System. The scope of this effort includes all personnel, equipment, tools, specialized test equipment, transportation, parts, materials, supervision, preventive maintenance (to ensure proper service) and other items and services necessary to perform preventive and corrective maintenance (on-site at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska) for the Sciton Joule dermatology YAG laser. Service will include any/all software updates, full optical alignment, complete power calibrations, filters/cartridges replacement, optical clean-up, mechanical integrity check, high/low voltage testing and inspection of all accessories. This maintenance service contract shall provide availability directly to qualified and authorized personnel; contractor’s service personnel shall carry or have stock immediately available. Due to the critical nature and demanding need of essential medical equipment all maintenance actions shall not be delayed by more than 24 hours under this effort. The contractor shall also provide 24 hour, 7 days a week telephone support with immediate access to an authorized/qualified technician. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing). Small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1000 employees. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The anticipated award date is 28 June 2024.
