## Description

**AWARD NOTIFICATION:** The Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Kadena Air Base and other U.S. Government Installations in Okinawa, Japan was awarded to Witco Industries Ltd. The SABER IDIQ contract was a competitive, fixed-price acquisition.

**DESCRIPTION OF WORK:** The SABER IDIQ contract will provide maintenance, alteration, and minor construction efforts for construction projects that will be executed through individual task orders encompassing a wide variety of trades, but is not limited to, office rennovation, building demolition, built-in equipment repair/replacement, piping repair/replacement, pipe lagging, electrical work, mechanical work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, site work, removal and disposal of lead based paint and asbestos contaning material, welding and masonry.

**PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:** The SABER IDIQ contract will have a base ordering period of 36 months with two 12 month option periods. The contract is expected to be complete by 28 April 2029.
