## Description

The 36th Contracting Office, Andersen AFB Guam, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to PHI for a double flare machine, this flare machine needs to be pneumatic or hydraulic, Include Double Lap Flaring between 1/8in and 1/2in, Single Flares between 1/8in and 3/4in, and a Beading Capacity range of 3/16in to 1/2in. This Flare Machine must utilize standard tooling compliant with with Military Standard and SAE specifications.

This machine must adhere to dimensional requirements of 28in x 18.5in x 49in; additionally, this machine should produce single, double, and upset beading on aluminum, steel, CRES, and titanium. This requirement has an estimated value of $142,747.00 which includes shipping to Guam. PHI is the manufacturer of the Double Flare Machine and is the only vendor capable of providing the required product. Market research has shown that nothing else in the open market is able to emulate the products offered by PHI. This contract will have a delivery period of 36 weeks.

Any response to this notive must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantagous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

If affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. This Notice of Intent is being posted on June 12th. REPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 27 June by by 3:30 PM Chamorro Standard Time (CHST) to the 36th Contracting Squadron, Andersend AFB and shall be submmitted to A1C Keegan Tunnicliff, email at keegan.tunnicliff@us.af.mil and to Mr. Lee Michael Rosario, email at lee_michael.rosario@us.af.mil. If no offers, comments, or objections are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be issued to PHI under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
