The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 9 days after date of publication of this notice. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s ability to provide an equivalent supply/service as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2024-05, DFARS Change 08/15/2024, and DAFAC 2024-0612. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488119. The associated Small Business Size Standard is $40,000,000.00. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 1680. Questions are due no later than 1:00 PM Japan Standard Time, 3 Sep 2024. Any questions submitted after may not be considered timely.
