The proposed contract action is for the procurement of a Shredder/Media Destroyer capable of destroying IT equipment to such a degree that allows classified/SAP media to be destroyed IAW DoDM 5205.07 and NSA Approved Products list. After thorough market research and evaluation, it has been determined that GigaBiter LLC is the only known source that can provide the required item/ with the necessary specifications, and technical capability. The 3rd Wing requires an industrial shredder capable of destroying SAP IT at an appropriate level where it can be thrown away without cause for concern.
