The scope of work will include creating a software module to the already existing stand-alone educational Virtual Reality interactive component configurator and flow simulation software for SEI (Special Experience Identifier) school training and orientation. The process involves creating an interactive educational experience for an ABFDS (Aerial Bulk Fuel Delivery System) system layout and flow simulation tester. Users will be able to manually load up the ABFDS system on the aircraft, in this case, a C-130 Hercules aerial platform, by placing components such as pumps, fuel bags, and associated Plumbing Assemblies in the aircraft's cargo hold. This interactive will assist airmen in preparing for remote operations, such as island chain contingency operations, to meet the needs of the US Air Force in delivering fuel to remote areas. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541511. The manufacturer was able to confirm the ability model to provide the items of the requirement. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The anticipated award date is 21 June 2024.
