These radios are to be used for the ground to air communication to pass mission critical information. This sources sought is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this sources sought. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought. Contact with Government personnel other than those specified in this sources sought by potential offerors or their employees regarding this project is prohibited. This sources sought notice is an announcement seeking market information on vendors capable of providing the supplies as described herein. 378 ECONS is currently conducting market research to locate vendors capable of offering the supplies with the features required. The information requested by this sources sought will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Information requested in this sources sought, specifically, is: To see if any other suppliers are capable of providing an L3 Harris radio PRC-117G. These radios need to be able to connect to existing L3 Harris radios already in place. Additionally, they need to be capable of SATCOM communications as well as being encrypted with issued SKLs. For description of requirements that the supply must meet (at minimum), please see attached.
