## Description

The iSMART process is a through-life interoperability enhancement and management process specifically designed for TDL-enabled platforms and systems. eSMART, a relational database driven software documentation and analysis tool set, supports the iSMART process and is used to populate, edit, and analyze TDL message data. The supply is described as follows:

a. Deliver 120 iSMART licenses.

b. iSMART foundation training: an iSMART process and eSMART tool set software training course for up to 12 students delivered in the US by a Leidos trainer two times per year.

c. Direct distribution of the latest version of the eSMART tool set software and applicable iSMART reference materials.

d. Updates of the eSMART tool set software and supporting material when released (typically one update per year). i. Updates to reference data (standards) on which the iSMART process is applied. This includes:

a. Information Definition (IDF) hierarchy b. IDF blueprints representing Tactical Data Link (TDL) standards which are releasable to the purchasing nation. c. TDL Message Standards which are releasable to the purchasing nation. d. TDL message structures associated with the TDL standards which are releasable to the purchasing nation. ii. Releasable systems integration questions and rationales. iii. Releasable link configuration parameters. iv.

Software fixes -- corrections (or workarounds) to faults in the eSMART software and supporting material; provided in version releases to the tool as corrections (or workarounds) become available, together with any necessary update to other documentation, including User Manuals. v. Support in migrating eSMART data between eSMART tool set software versions and versions of the TDL standards e. Full membership in the International iSMART User Group (IiUG), allowing input to future enhancements to the iSMART process and the eSMART tool set software. Approximately 80 training staff hours will be acquired each year for iSMART process and eSMART software training. Training will be conducted in the United States.
