Department of the Air Force, 56 Contracting Squadron, will solicit for Buildings 1383 and 1384 Inside Plant (ISP) Replacement and Building 123 Fiber Optic work to Bldg. 528 and Bldg. 530 at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130 Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. This solicitation will be for a Firm Fixed Price contract which will require the following work, but not limited to Inside Plant (ISP) Replacement including removing existing outdated and abandoned-in-place (AIP) CAT-3/CAT-5 wiring, installing new rack cabinets, AC power for rack cabinets, relocation of existing equipment, engineer, furnish, install and test an upgrade to the ISP wiring and new NIPR CAT-6 cabling. In addition, the Fiber Optic work includes the installation of 2100 feet of fiber optic cable from Building 123 to Buildings 528 and 530, including work in the underground conduit system utilizing maintenance holes, hand holes to install fiber optic cable, fiber optic distribution panel, cable racks, a network switch, UPS and engineer, furnish, install and test the new fiber optic cable system. IAW FAR 36.204 the magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT IS AN SBA CERTIFIED WOMEN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (WOSB) SET ASIDE AND IS LIMITED TO SBA CERTIFIED WOSB. Contractors are required to be certified prior to contract award.
