Requirement will include a base period plus (4) option years. This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) “Soliciting from a single source”. Hexagon Metrology, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of Leica Laser Tracker AT403 and B-Probe PN: 6011846 which will require annual calibration services on-site at the contractor’s facility to ensure equipment meets full performance expectations. Hexagon Metrology, Inc. does not have any third party authorized service providers for this equipment; all service work must be accomplished by the OEM. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized calibration services provider for this equipment. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered.
