## Description

The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Brand Name procurement action, for the procurement of the following items: Cobham Parachutist Bailout System – Qty: 25 each NSN:

**8120-01-675-7824 Part Number:** B47310-1 This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.106-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a BRAND NAME procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals.

Firms who want to challenge this brand name action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized service provider for this equipment. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered.

All interested firms must respond to RFP number FA4877-24-Q-A544 by Friday, 16 Aug 2024, 10:00am MST to Contracting Officers Rachelle Jenkins via email at rachelle.jenkins.3@us.af.mil , phone (520)228-3598 and Patricia Murray at patricia.murray.6@us.af.mil, phone (520)228-3095. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
