## Description

The 432nd Communications Squadron requires an alternate long-haul fiber connection from Creech AFB to Nellis AFB establishing network redundancy in accordance with T.O. 00-33A-1001, 3.4.4.1 J. The primary long-haul fiber connection owned by Nevada Energy (NV Energy) is scheduled for maintenance and repairs in October of 2024 causing NIPR/SIPR network down-time and ultimately mission stoppage if an alternate connection is not established. Therefore, the Government requires the lease of the long-haul fiber infrastructure owned by Lumen Technologies maintain connectivity while the scheduled maintenance and repairs are completed.
