Combo-Synopsis Sunshades Updated to match new Offer Due Date change. **GENERAL STATEMENT:** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. **REQUIREMENT:** 36 aircraft sunshades damaged by Hurricane Idalia need to be repaired. The damage ranges from structural steel tubing and cross members that have bent, canopy tension lacing has become loose or broken to 5 sunshades that experienced total canopy failure and detachment. A site survey will be necessary to inspect the amount of damage per sunshade. Please utilize additional attachments (Statement of Work and DAFI 21-101 CH 15) for more information on install requirements. "Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs." **SITE VISIT:** A site visit will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM EST. While attendance is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
