## Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number FA481424TF097 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ.

The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-05; Effective May 22, 2024. This is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. This requirement is for defensive and offensive rugby wheelchairs along with extra wheel sets and spare parts. Defensive and offensive wheelchairs have generally the same specifications except for the type of front bumper rail. Offensive chairs are built for speed and mobility and have wings to prevent defensive chairs from hooking it, while defensive chairs are built to hook and lock players in place keeping them from scoring and assisting their teammates on the court. Please refer to the Statement of Need (SON) for the chrematistics of the wheelchairs.
