Shifts must consist of two (2) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), one (1) of whom must be an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P). HAFB shall provide a primary and secondary ambulance. The Contractor shall provide 24- hour coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with no exceptions. The Contractor shall also provide ambulance response to emergencies as requested by dispatch. The response time is not to exceed twelve (12) minutes with 90 percent compliance. The transfer and stabilization of patients from HAFB to the Government designated health care organization which is Christus Health, in Alamogordo New Mexico, located 13.6 miles from HAFB, ensuring the patient receives the appropriate level of care at all times. The restocking of used/expiring supplies, used supplies will be replaced within 1 hour following the transport.
