## Description

The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD plans to award a sole source contract to Honeywell International for an HVAC upgrade to building 1008 in September 2024. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Department of the Air Force Federal Acquistion Regulation Supplement (DAFFARS).

FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) justifies limiting the source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The attached Sole Source Justification outlines the Contracting Officer's justification and reasoning to award a sole source award to Honeywell International.
