The dining facility experiences excessive solar heat, glare, and occupants experience discomfort due to unfiltered sunlight entering through exterior windows. Existing window film is aged, degraded, and no longer meets mission or energy?efficiency requirements. Updated commercial?grade window tint is required to improve energy performance, enhance privacy, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with Air Force facility standards. The Government requires installation and replacement of window tint of Beale AFB's Dining Facility (otherwise known as DFAC).
