This requirement supports the diverse mission sets of the 9th Reconnaissance Wing (9 RW) at Beale Air Force Base by ensuring the operational integrity of its critical ground infrastructure. The suite of lifts (one boom lift and three scissor lifts) will be utilized by the 9th CES to perform essential maintenance on facilities that are foundational to the base's mission, including aircraft hangars housing reconnaissance platforms, multi-story command and control facilities, radar towers vital for mission operations, and other key infrastructure. By enabling timely and safe maintenance at varying heights and complexities, this equipment indirectly ensures the readiness and long-term viability of the wing's primary weapon systems and support functions.
