The predominant cost of this acquisition is anticipated to be the replacement rotating drum attachment; therefore, it is considered to be a supply in accordance with definition of \"supplies\" at FAR 2.101. The following Product Service Code (PSC) and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code have been assigned to this acquisition: PSC: 3805 - Earth Moving and Excavating Equipment NAICS: 423810 - Construction and Mining (except Oil Well) Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers All parts required for this repair must meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. All work must must be performed by CAT-certified technicians at the contractor's facility. All work must occur within 75 miles of Pensacola, FL. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), please see Attachment 1 - Milling Machine Justification_Redacted for further details. This is a notice of the intent to award a single source contract in accordance with FAR 5.201(b)(1)(i). It is published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; therefore no solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to this notice of intent to single source are anticipated; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the supply listed.
