THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.? The 436th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources for a potential service contract at Dover Air Force Base (AFB). Dover AFB anticipates awarding a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with the small business size standard of $34.0M. The purpose of this Sources Sought/Synopsis is to conduct market research to determine if responsible small business concerns exist for a potential competitive small business set aside. The Sources Sought is to determine potential sources, for information, and for planning purposes only. This Sources Sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought. If adequate responses are not received from the above-mentioned concerns, the acquisition may be solicited in another manner. This BPA will require services included in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). There is no maximum anticipated BPA ceiling (initial agreement period of five years). Calls will be made with a maximum call amount of $2,500 for Government Purchase Card and $250,000 for calls placed through Contracting. Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any formal RFQ process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy.
