Snow shall be plowed into designated storage areas set by the government representative and shall not obstruct access to fire hydrants, buildings, or other critical infrastructure. The contractor should be careful not to damage any signs, signposts, speed bumps, parking blocks or vehicles around the work area. Once a designated area is cleared the contractor shall report it to the government representative for surveillance and to have the government put down deicing material as necessary. The contractor shall provide and maintain a fleet of vehicles and equipment sufficient to meet the requirements of this PWS. All vehicles shall be clearly marked with the contractors company name. Contractor has eight hours to respond to a snow/ice removal request by the government representative once the snow/ice has stopped falling. This is all done in accordance with the PWS.
