Trane is the original manufacturer and installer of the systems in the building. Becuase Trane Inc. is required to program the control box, this procurement falls under FAR 6.302-1. Train inc. are the only source capable of programing the control box required to fulfill the specifications of this requirement. Please see the attached Performance Work Statement for additional information. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued based on the responses from this post. All responsible sources may submit a quote which may be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. The responder must be capable of fulfilling ALL charachteristics outlined in the Performance Work Statement Document. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years.
