Description (a)Travis Air Force Base is seeking a dynamic and professional aerial demonstration act to be a featured performer at its \"Wings over Solano\" Airshow, scheduled for April 25-26, 2026. The requirement is for a complete performance package centered around a vintage MIG-17 jet. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a single MIG-17, presented in a historically accurate military livery, to perform a thrilling 10-minute solo aerobatic routine complete with a smoke system. The performance schedule includes a full rehearsal on Friday, April 24th, followed by public demonstrations on both Saturday, April 25th, and Sunday, April 26th. The pilot must be highly qualified, holding both an active surface-level aerobatic waiver and an unrestricted Level I Statement of Competency (SAC) card. (b) The Government intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order.
