## Description

This requirement is to purchase a device to cut steel, aluminum, plexiglass, honeycomb, foam, composites etc. with a maximum thickness of 12 inches. The current methods of cutting thick materials are limited to a hand held circular saw which only has 3 inch capacity.

The water jet must have the following features: - Must be 480 VAC/3 Phase system - Cutting pressure output of 60,000 PSI (Pounds per Square inch) - Maximum 50 Horsepower direct drive pump motor - Optimum .016” cutting orifice/1.20 GPM flow rate - Maximum foot print area of 15’ 2” x 8’ 10” - Cutting bed area 8’3” x 4’6” minimum - Maximum table load 400 Lbs. sq ft. - Maximum 180 in/min cutting speed - Noise level less than 80 dba at 1 meter for submerged cutting - Linear positional accuracy must be less than 0.0015” - Repeatability must be less than 0.0015” - Ballbar Circularity must be less than 0.003” - Minimum X and Y travel must be 8’ 4” x 4’ 7” - Minimum 7.5” Z axis travel - Must be capable of cutting alum, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, titanium, tool steel, brass, carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, phenolic. - Five (5) Day Training included - The factory technician will start the machine to assure it's operation, immediately following start-up the technician will provide 3 Days on-site Training. - Installation of electrical components - Installation of plumbing services for the waterline
