## Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF ORAL SOLICITATION. This is a notice to the public of the government’s intent to orally solicit purchase of Ultimate Training Munitions (UTM)

**Helmet, NSN:** 8415-01-632-4484 or equal. The Reference Number is FA441824Q0031. The 628th Contracting Squadron, 101 E. Hill Blvd., Joint Base Charleston, intends to award a fixed price purchase order contract for 150 Full Face Helmets (25 Small, 40 Medium, 55 Large, 30 XL), UTM NSN: 8415-01-632-4484 or equal. Interested parties are advised FoB Destination is required.

Offerors providing an equal item must provide a product spec sheet and ensure the item meets the following characteristics: Complete protection over head and neck Lightweight, adjustable, and easily cleaned Visors lift to allow easier communication while still maintaining head protection. Visor lens does not fog and provides 180° visibility Clear shield that allows for easier facial recognition and “non” verbal response Verbal communications can still easily be heard.

Helmet is flexible to allow for adequate cheek/stock weld Easily worn with prescription glasses or sunglasses Includes sweatband and neck wraps No materials that require laundering. Can be simply rinsed with mild soap and water and left to air dry. Passes high velocity impact requirements of ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015.
