As result of this degraded system a newsystem that is compatible with the current configuration is required to avoid the current system interruptions. The TC8000 series fiber optic transportand Jumbo Switch manufactured by TC Communication have proven to provide the much needed upgrade to the current system configuration as itmeets all system requirements for interconnectivity over fiber optics and postures our systems for migration to the Defense Information SystemsNetworks (DISN).
