## Description

This contract action for the rental of one 50-ton HVAC unit was awarded non-competitively under the authority of FAR 6.103-2, "Unusual and Compelling Urgency." A catastrophic failure of the primary air conditioning system in a mission-critical facility created an immediate and unacceptable risk of damage to high-value government assets and a halt to operations.
