Air Force Libraries are identified as Core mission and classified as Category A (100% Appropriated Funding). The libraries are required to deliver specific DoD Library Core Standards (DoDLS) which are reported on AF Common Output Level Standards (AFCOLS) annually. Per DAFI34-101, DoDI 1015.10 (see Appendix) and DoDLS, access to online library catalogs and resources, WiFi access and commercial network hardwired computers should be provided to patrons whenever possible. The Contractor shall provide expeditious delivery, assembly and continued service on a monthly basis. The contractor will take all necessary steps to provide the location with internet service so there is no delay or downtime from current service expiration. The contractor will provide a proposed project schedule reflecting a timeline to complete all activities needed to provide the internet services which will be fully operational by 30 May 2025. Additionally, the contractor shall provide drawings/illustrations, specifications, product details, manuals, labor, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, materials and supervision necessary to accomplish this project. The contractor may use current Ethernet cables, routers, and Wi-Fi access points in place. If the contractor is unable to use the current system, they will provide the reasoning to the government point of contact and provide the cost to install new wiring and system prior to installation. The contractor will provide installation, specifications, and illustrations of layout and products to contract administrator within 15 calendar days after contract award.
