## Description

This requirement is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the Star Excimer Laser Maintenance. The purpose of this requirement is for the contractor to provide scheduled preventative maintenance inspections (PMI), calibration, on-call corrective maintenance and as-needed parts and service for the STAR Excimer Laser System for 316th Medical Group (316 MDG).

Service shall include all travel, labor, parts, materials (excluding user consumable supplies), authorized field modification instructions (FMI), individual tools and test equipment required to service and maintain the equipment. The contractor shall provide all software updates to this equipment, to include field modifications, safety corrections, revisions designed to correct software deficiencies and equipment modifications normally furnished by the manufacturer.

Upgrades and modifications will be furnished at no additional cost under the contract and installed during the next PMI after the manufacturer makes them available. These software updates, upgrades and modifications will not include those designed primarily as performance upgrades. Contractor shall ensure that the equipment functions in conformance with the latest published editions of all applicable regulatory guidance.
