## Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! SLD 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for a one (1) year continuation of "Improve Detection of Lightning Peak Current study." Period of Performance is 29Sep23 to 31Dec24. This is a Sole Source with Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) IAW FAR13.106(b)(1). IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15) FIT is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement for a continuation of "Improve Detection of Lightning Peak Current study."

These specifications are a unique requirement to support the SLD 45 launch mission. The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541690. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. SLD 45 CONS/PKB has determined that FIT is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Phone calls will not be accepted.
