## Description

The 21st Contracting squadron entered into a contract for emergency mortuary services with the Horan and McConaty Funeral Home in Centennial Colorado for a fallen service member. Due to the need for immediate care and servies to begin, the action was directly awarded without competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. A copy of the redacted justification is included with this notice. Circumstances outside of the contractor's control prevented registration and subsequent award release until recently.
