## Description

This is a synopsis notice IAW FAR 5.301. Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio 43201 has been awarded a $24,509,269.00 Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract for Research and Development.

The objective of the “Assured and Trusted Microelectronics Solutions (ATMS)” effort is to achieve the objectives of the following whitepaper submitted in response to the ATMS BAA: White Paper – “Assurance Workflows Applied to Assessment and Vulnerability Discovery.” The scope of this effort is to assist AFRL/RYD in performing the development of Defense for Security (DFS) frameworks, methodologies, and metrics for extracting security-related requirements defined by context-based threat models; meet target goals for post-silicon validation and verification for next generation micro-electronics; investigate and deliver validation and verification solutions with a focus on tool development; and advance microelectronic supply chain security through creating assurance cases for identified supply chain risks.

The primary location of performance is Columbus, Ohio but performance will also take place at WPAFB, Ohio. The work is expected to be complete by 26 April 2027. The award is the result of the Assured and Trusted Microelectronics Solutions (ATMS) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA); Solicitation Number FA8650-18-S-1201.

This is a two-step BAA and Battelle Memorial Institute submitted a formal proposal on 22 January 2024. Fiscal Year 2024, Research and Development Funds in the amount of $855,847.00 are being obligated at time of award.
