## Description

BRAND NAME/NOTICE OF INTENT The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA 93437, intends to solicit and award a brand name firm-fixed-price contract to service locations with trained and certified Cummins mechanics. The action will be executed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. See attached redacted Single Source Justification for additional details. The requirement is to provide the following:

**CLIN 0001:** One (1) Cummins ISL9 300 long block engine replacement. Includes ECM reprogramming and function testing to confirm new engine is functioning properly. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal. However, interested parties may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill the requirement via email to taylor.dunn.6@spaceforce.mil with a copy to tyler.troge.2@spaceforce.mil no later than 13 March 2025 at 4:30 PM Pacific Time.

Any costs incurred in submitting a capabilities statement will not reimbursed by the Government. Additionally, the information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
