Stolberger Incorporated will provide one braiding machine, Cobra 450 24 Carrier model P1 with a motorized pulley, heavy cover guard setup for wire application. The machine will be in compliance with the standard braiding machine used across the Air Force in Aircraft E/E shops, and Technical Order 1-1A-14. This sole source approach will ensure project timelines are met, minimize integration risks, and provide the necessary technical capabilities. This machine will allow 4CMS to locally manufacture CFT wire harness part numbers 68A768451/68A768452. This purchase shall be made under FAR part 12 and 13 procedures; FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Other than full and open competition applies. The circumstances of this contract action deem only one single source is reasonably available. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes.
