In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the Contracting officer may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities for fulfilling this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based solely upon the Government based on responses to this notice. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
