## Description

1. The 27 SOCES requires services for the repair of Water Well 4. This acquisition is for non-personal services. The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, qualifications and other items and services necessary to restore well 4A to full and safe operation at Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB), New Mexico. The contractor shall perform the requirements of this PWS in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and industry standards. Please see attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further information.

2. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220, which comprises establishments primarily engaged in installing and servicing plumbing with a size standard of $19M. The PSC associated with this requirement is J043 entitled "Maintenance and Repair of Pumps & Compressors." 3. This announcement is a Sources Sought and is NOT a Request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement does not commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. There is no solicitation or funding currently available.

Additionally, the government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this Sources Sought announcement. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if there are enough vendors capable to provide integrated solid waste management services IAW the performance work statement.

In addition, this market research tool can be used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation. This is projected to be a small business set-aside, all small business set-aside categories will be considered. Attached is the DRAFT of the performance work statement for this requirement, to allow for a better idea of work to be expected. It is subject to adjustments as necessary.
