Due to the need for compatibility with the current system along with and increase in unique capabilities, Bauer INC., is the only source authorized to provide the 8731Series Wheel Assembly Torque System. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to william.gentry.8@us.af.mil and Jake.montalbano@us.af.mil by the response date stated in this notice.
