## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service (FS) Procurement Property Services (PPS) Special Projects Operations Center (SPOC) Northwest Branch intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) – Smith-Root CAGE 55158, for the items listed below. The statutory authority for this acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the items listed below are available from only one source.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 335999 with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 5999. The small business set aside is 100% Total Small Business concerns. Delivery is requested within thirty (30) days after the receipt of order (ARO). The FS desires early deliveries therefore early shipments are encouraged at no additional cost to the Government. F.O.B. point is Destination.

Inspection and Acceptance under this contract will be performed at destination by the contractor. Order number 12048924P0040 is assigned for tracking purposes only. No solicitation package will be issued.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation to jerry.meeks@usda.gov with 12048924P0040 – Electrofisher Backpack in the subject line which will be considered by the agency if received no later than 12:00 P.M., (CST) on 02 October 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made upon determination of fair and reasonable pricing. See Attachment 1
