As part of the upcoming construction solicitation, USACE intends to include the following brand name requirement: ”DAQ StarWatch Short Message Service (SMS) software system.”

Because the D-21 network is proprietary, only Monaco transceivers can communicate with the installed receiver infrastructure and maintain the approved reporting configuration. While the Monaco BT-XM transceiver is designed to create a bridge between other manufacturers' fire alarm systems and the D-21 network, only Monaco's own equipment can communicate on this proprietary network. Therefore, the Monaco BT-XM meets the UL Listing and FM Global Approval requirements.
